Rain Wind Sun was the only company offering the services of a structural survey regarding the roof suitability, which was most reassuring.
From the first call to the office the service was professional and friendly. It was refreshing to have the survey carried out by the people involved in the installation which meant that technical questions could be addressed.
The installation was carried out in a most professional and efficient manner with minimal disruption. All in all an excellent family company with the added benefit of being local, a company which I would not hesitate to recommend.
Finally, out of the eight quotes they were the lowest cost!

The entire project went well. We were impressed with the way Rain Wind Sun worked to accommodate our requirements (e.g. times that suited us).
The attention to detail, exemplified by them putting cardboard under their van to prevent oil dripping onto the drive, is to be commended. We are very pleased with the unfussy way the installation was carried out and now looking forward to “harvesting” the returns on the investment.

All in all we were very pleased with the friendly and polite attention we received.
We would like to say a few words concerning the design and installation of the PV panels on the roof of our bungalow. Your progress through quotation, design information, delivery and installation, including the integration of your electrical contractor, flowed peacefully and quickly. The fact that you all turned up at the times specified is quite something these days. Finally, the handover of the system was very thorough. In fact the whole installation was clean and tidy and the entire workforce cleared up when they had finished. Thank you very much.

I am delighted with the system, particularly as it has already produced more than 10 kWh (over 2 days in early February) and am happy to recommend this Company to anyone contemplating having a similar system installed.
When I decided that a photovoltaic solar energy system would be a good idea (I live on top of a hill and have a large pitched roof facing roughly south-west) I contacted two regional / national suppliers of systems and one local company ~ Rain Wind Sun.
Rain Wind Sun offered 5 different sized options, with costs, plans and potential payback rates, and their overall costs were the best on offer.
After discussing these options with the supplier I opted for a 3.99kWp system which offered the best feed-in tariff return and involved the fitting of 19 PV solar panels on the roof.
The whole installation operation, including upgrading of my domestic supply by subcontractors recommended by Rain Wind Sun was completed quickly and efficiently, with minimal disruption and my wife and I were impressed with the care taken by the installation technicians and the way in which they kept us informed of their progress.
The system briefing and documentation (system diagrams, safety procedures, system labelling etc) supplied were comprehensive, with an invitation to call then at any time if there are queries or problems.

From start to finish a very professional and efficient job, performed by a polite and friendly team.
The initial inspection of the property was conducted by the technicians who would be the ones to carry out the work, not by a salesman, and there was no pressure put on us to use Rain Wind Sun. Measurements and photos were taken and a comprehensive printed quotation as requested arrived a few days later.
After the decision to go ahead a date to start was agreed, and kept to; the work was completed in four working days, with the system up and running. Obviously much work was on the roof, which caused no disruption, but even when inside the technicians were always careful not to cause any mess.
In the kitchen some difficult work was done to ensure that all the new wiring and meters were hidden, for which my wife was very grateful.
