The Broadlands
Wood and Coal Convector Fire Range
|
|
 |
|
A Broadlands Convector fire is easier to install,
quicker to light and to warm up than a stove,
and a cure for many chimney smoking problems. There is a complete
range of different sizes of wood and coal convector fire. Each
one can be supplied as a complete package, ready for installation
with firebox, wood tray or coal grate, installation kit, brass
handled poker and safety firescreen,
and your personal choice of accessories.
The standard models fit nearly into the British Standard fire
openings. The Universal models have three versatile sizes and
are our most popular. The low models are designed to fit beneath
a standard 22" high lintel. The Extra range has larger fireboxes
for burning large logs and for higher outputs up to 17kW. A choice
of gathers and flue adapters are available to ensure easy installation
and effective smoke clearance.

also fit into a standard British fireplace opening.
The stove is offered with different grate and thermostat options
and a choice of matt black or red enamel finishes.
The firebox has a large capacity and uses vermiculite fire bricks;
these, together with the advanced aeration system, help to produce
a very clean burn with lower environmental pollution. The aeration

Regency Stoves
A period
design combining stove and fireplace
Originally patented in 1742 by Benjamin Franklin, the Regency enjoys
a pedigree unmatched by any other stove. It was designed at a time when
America was still a British colony and its proportions were undoubtedly
influenced by Franklin's extended visits to Georgian London.
With the doors open and a fire burning, the Regency's large firebox
produces the atmosphere of a traditional open fireplace. When closed,
the airflow is controlled, the fire burns longer and the handsome Georgian
door panels are fully exposed.
The Regency is supplied in three sizes and a boiler suitable for use
with indirect domestic hot water systems is available; this has a 'clip
in' design and may be added at a later date. A pair of polished brass
balls are supplied with each stove and a brass rail set, is available
as an optional accessory.
Cast into the side panel of every Regency is a support bracket, into
which a barbecue or bean pot may be fixed. Each of these is manufactured
from cast iron and is supplied complete with a swinging arm which locates
into the support bracket.
These utensils allow the stove to be used as an additional cooking facility.
Two firescreens have also been designed to fit onto the hearth plate
and are strongly recommended whenever the stove is used with the doors
open. A 3-piece cast iron grate kit is also available which reduces
fuel consumption and heat output by reducing the grate area.

The

Gas Clarendon
|
|
|
Large Gas Clarendon (8543)
in a traditional inglenook.
|
Style, elegance and performance are very much the hallmarks
of the new Gas Clarendon. It's flowing, graceful lines combine with
the ultimate in technology to provide a superb focal point for your
home.
Perfectly proportioned and using finely detailed castings, the Gas Clarendon
has been created to suit the widest possible range of decorative interiors.
So whilst its overall design concept echoes the refinement of the Regency
era, it blends equally harmoniously into a contemporary home.
This visual appeal is complemented by Gazco's unbeatable 'real fire'
effect and heating efficiency. You can enjoy not only dancing flames
and glowing coals or logs at the turn of a switch but up to 5kw of convected
warmth as well. And that is a picture of comfort to add cheer to any
winter's night.
Don't worry if you don't have a chimney. There are balanced flue and
powered flue options to suit most non-chimney situations. In fact, the
new Gas Clarendon's series of features is the hottest you can find.
Gas Brunel
|
|
|
Gas Brunel Stove in red enamel (8052)
|
Stoves have been made of cast iron for centuries, thanks
to its excellent heat diffusing properties and potential for forming
into detailed and appealing designs. The Brunel Stove is very much part
of this long tradition.
Now Gazco have developed a gas version of the Brunel which is ideal
for the smaller room or conservatory .
Although compact in size, and capable of being fitted to a standard
22" (560mm) high fireplace opening, this attractive unit is 80%
efficient and produces more than 3kw of heat!
The Brunel is available in a choice of traditional matt black or three
beautiful vitreous enamelled colours.
Gas Shearton
|
|
|
Coal fire version of Gas Shearton Stove
in matt black (8082)
|
The clean, classical lines of this cast iron stove ensure
that the Shearton is equally at home in either period or modern settings.
It's state-of-the-art gas convector fire is also sufficient to keep
your living room pleasantly warm on the coldest winter's evening.
Inside the Shearton, the gas fire has its own independent casing, leaving
a convection chamber between it and the shell of the stove. Air circulating
around this chamber is heated and directed through vents above the stove
doors.
This also means that most of the heat of the stove is directed forwards,
making the top and side cast iron surfaces safer if touched accidentally.
The Shearton also offers you a choice of a coal or log fire and is available
in a traditional matt black finish or distinctive dark red enamel.

|
|
|
Balanced flue log-effect version of Manhattan
finish in Matt Gentian Blue (8537C)
|
Superbly designed with up-to-the-moment, contemporary
styling, the essential charms of the Manhattan lie in the uniqueness
of its sturdily cast yet elegantly refined ceramic panelling and the
richness of its glazes. It is a stove that brings a new dimension of
colour and warmth to home heating.
Featuring a highly attractive combination of straight lines and gentle
curves, at the centre of the Manhattan is a finely detailed cast iron

To complete the look, a cast iron top grille permits warm, convected

crazing giving a characteristic aged look.
Ceramica Mayfair
|
|
|
Balanced flue log effect version of Mayfair
in Antiue Royal Blue (8539G)
|

from the Georgian period, thus exuding a refined elegance that has a

rich, deep colours to the heart of your home.
Just as importantly, the broad, cast iron framed window means you can
get maximum pleasure from the atmosphere and enchantment of a real fire.
And to complement your view of the fire, the highly efficient convector
system releases warm air into the room through a cast iron grille in
the top of the stove.
The Mayfair is available in a choice of four carefully selected colours.
Three have a translucent glaze with natural surface crazing to give
a characteristic aged look whilst the fourth is in a modern matt glaze.
