Royale Timber were established
in 1990 by myself, Colin Fleming. At that time our main works were the
manufacture, supply and installation of leisure buildings. After sucessfully
establishing this business at our current premises in 1994, I was approached
by my family in Canada who at the time were constructing timber decking
in Canada.They suggested to me when they were over visiting Scotland
that I should expand Royale Timber into the supply & fitting of
decking. At the time I thought it was a great idea but how would I convince
the British public?

Two years passed and the British
media began to market this great idea for the garden. The uptake for
this was phenominal. With the increased interest and our existing experience
in timber decking, Royale Timber grew with this new garden concept and
have never looked back.
We now supply & install timber decking and also manufacture our leisure buildings all over Scotland. Since starting decking I have been on several fact finding missions to Canada to keep one step ahead of my competition. These visits normally entailed bring back new ideas and incorporating these into our design and construction of timber decking. |
