The Queensberry Arms Hotel is ideal for your wedding service. This 18th Century building adds a real atmosphere to this occasion.

The Hotel has the facilities for a variety of services depending on your particular needs.

The atrium has the space to accommodate 20 plus of a congregation, with its glass roof and supple lighting it offers a beautiful setting for the marriage ceremony.

The Annan suit with its deep hanging fabrics and intimate surroundings has the facilities to accommodate 60 plus of a congregation.

Both areas are dressed either traditionally or to your desired design which may be as special to you as your heart desires.

All technicalities are arranged directly through the hotels function manager which leaves you free of detail to enjoy your day.

Accommodation

Honeymoon Suite

When all the guests have gone and the night is creeping in, indulge in relaxation in one of our luxurious Honeymoon Suites complete with complimentary Chocolates and Champagne. The Honeymoon Suite is complete with 4 poster bed and Jacuzzi.

Remember your Wedding Guests

Some may have travelled from far afield to be with you on your special day. You may wish to send out our booking information and our directions with your invitations, these can be provided on request.

Wedding Services

Colour Scheme
We can colour co-ordinate napkins, flowers, helium balloons and many extra items in the colours of your choice.

Napkins, Place Cards and Menus
The table package of napkins, place cards and menus is £1.50 pence per person.

Helium Balloons
We can supply helium balloons for £10.00 per arrangement

Flower Arrangements
Individual packages for the top table flowers start from £25.00 and table posies from £20.00

Table Plan
If you choose we can organise a table plan to be in the lounge during your arrival drinks so your guests know where they will be seated.

Silver Cake Stand and Knife
At the Hotel we have a square and round silver base stand for Wedding cakes, also a silver cake cutting knife. We can help you to arrange other types of stands if you prefer.

Entertainment
We can arrange entertainment for your evening reception from a disco to live bands, this varies in price depending on your choice.

Evening Buffet
Your evening buffet, will be charged for according to the total number of guests attending your evening reception.

Final Arrangements
It would be helpful if your choice of menu and other details, could be finalised at least 6 weeks prior to the date of your wedding. Your final numbers and table plan should be sent to the hotel, at least 7 days prior to your arrival date for your wedding.

Payment of Your Account
A deposit of £200.00 (None Refundable) is required to confirm you booking. (This is non-refundable and will be deducted from the final account). 50% of the estimated final account is due to be paid one month prior to the wedding and the balance of the account should be paid on departure from the hotel. Cheques should be made payable to the "Queensberry Arms Hotel".

Cancellation Charge
When a cancellation is made less than 3 months prior to the date of your wedding reception, the hotel reserves the right to make a cancellation charge. The charge will be 50% of the estimated final account, should the facilities not be re-let for another function on the date booked. Cancellation must be made in writing.

Appointments
By calling the hotel to make an appointment, we can ensure that the facilities are available for viewing and that we have plenty of time to discuss your requirements.

Provisional Bookings
A provisional booking can be held for up to 14 days, this will allow you to finalise other arrangements.

Estimates
We can provide a written estimate for the total cost of your wedding on request; however the hotel reserves the right to alter any prices, should economic or budgetary measures deem this necessary. For example a change in the rate of VAT, in the unlikely event that a problem arises with the supply of certain ingredients, the hotel reserves the right to substitute dishes on menus. Wherever possible, any changes will be brought to your immediate attention.

Children
Children under the age of 12 years may have half portions and will be charged half price. Children under 7 may eat from the children's menu and will be charged £5.00 each.

Vegetarians and special Diets can be catered for if we are notified in advance. Menus will be given on request if required.
