Following an initial feasibility meeting with
clients to study their requirements, a sketch layout plan is prepared
based on the agreed brief, this will indicate the general arrangement
discussed for final approval, with approximate rough estimated
guideline costs.
A wide range of options are available and the following matters
are considered when agreeing the brief at feasibility stage:
• ideal location and siting of the swimming pool/check
available services
• Various pool sizes and shapes
• Various types of pool construction and finishes
• Select ideal orientation for sunlight and shade
• Filtration and automatic sanitising
• Heating and dehumidification of indoor pools
• Automatic pool covers to conserve heat/evaporation
• Pool room for mechanical plant and storage
• Automatic pool covers, heat retention
Additional building work can be incorporated in the final design
to form extensions / alterations and leisure facilities built
whilst the pool construction is in progress. Comprehensive
designs for interiors, landscapes, and ancillary works can
form part of the final scheme and be incorporated in the work
schedules at final stage.
