GOVERNORS

Governors make decisions about how the school is run. They are appointed to help decide what is taught, set standards of behaviour, select staff, decide how the school budget is spent and ensure the school is well managed.

The governors have legal duties, powers and responsibilities, but can only act as a body.

Meetings are held at least twice every term. The head presents his report and matters concerning the school are discussed. Minutes of these meetings are available for inspection, on request to the School Secretary.
