Art
and design facilities are carried out in house. Using Apple Macintosh
computer aided design and typesetting programmes enables us to design,
with precision, anything from a one off directional sign to an instrument
panel with the speed and accuracy expected by industry today. We
can incorporate your existing logo, or design one to suit your corporate
image, and give you a proof |
| before it is passed
on to our reprographic department. |

Department
|
 |
Our
reprographic camera is used to re-size the artwork, combine it with
existing artwork, add effects and photographs, if necessary, and
reproduce them all onto film. Automated processing ensures consistency
and quality of the end product. This is of the utmost importance
when reproducing the original design onto brass, stainless steel,
anodised aluminium, copper etc., or when |
| manufacturing templates
for the engraving of wood, glass or stone. |
| Chemical
and Electrolytic Etching |
 |
Chemical
and electrolytic with it's unique characteristics, is used when
required to produce a cost effective alternative to engraving difficult
materials such as stainless steel, or long runs of repetitive labels
and machine badges. Chemical etching is also used on copper to manufacture
a range of decorative pictures and drinks coasters for the gift
market. |
| Anodised
Aluminium |
| As part of our quest
to produce low maintenance signs we now produce anodised aluminium
signs and labels, on which the image in one or more colours, is
incorporated into the structure of the metal itself, making it almost
indestructible. This is one of the most advanced techniques used
in modern signing and labelling, combining visual appeal with high
durability and low maintenance. Seen here is a selection of anodised
aluminium, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze both hand engraved
and etched. |
