Ethnical Policy
There are 246 million children trapped in slavery. 115
million children are out of school.
It is not enough knowing how many children are toiling
in labour...
We at MabyUK are appalled by the actions of many leading
brands, which encourage overseas companies to use and
abuse child labour. We accept that it can be very difficult
for even the most well meaning company to categorically
ensure that they don't support child labour, but we at
MabyUK try our best not to be tricked or duped!!
MabyUK views its responsibilities in this area very seriously
and our Policy is detailed below:

our customers needs through the provision of high quality,
good value products service and relevant information
which enable customers to make informed and responsible
choices.
Our trading relationships with both customers and suppliers
will be commercially viable, mutually beneficial and
based on trust and respect.
We aim to ensure that human and civil rights are respected
throughout all of our business activities.
We operate within a framework including criteria for
workers rights embracing a safe healthy working environment,
fair wages, no discrimination on the basis of age, race,
creed, disability, gender or sexual orientation, or physical
coercion of any kind, and to ensure that child labour
is not used in the production of any products for MabyUK.
Our operations will comply with the legislation of any
country within which we operate.
We will require all suppliers to MabyUK to comply with
the principals of our Ethical Policy.
Below are the ethical criteria that MabyUK applies to
its chosen suppliers.
• MabyUK aim to ensure that human & civil rights
are respected

with the national definition of the word child.

Caring For Your Clothes
We want the clothing that we provide
you to look, feel and fit like the day you bought the
garments for as long as possible. To do that please follow
our advice, as best as you can, in caring for your garments.
Dirty Kit
All garments can discolour due to staining by substances
such as mud, grass or grease, which may not entirely
be removed by washing.
Careful adherence to garment care instructions will minimise
likelihood of staining. Avoid leaving kit folded or bundled
together whilst damp or soiled after use.
Soaking garments in luke-warm water and detergent for
(approx 2 hrs) as soon as possible after use can reduce
discolouration.
Using pre wash soakers will assist in the removal of
stains particularly white and light coloured kits.
Use at least an equal volume of water to that of the
garments being soaked or washed.
Use pre wash programmes and don't overload your washing
machine.
After wash ensure all garments are dry before being put
away.
Washing
Always look for the garment care label and follow the
washing instructions. washing machines, powders and fabrics
are specially manufactured to ensure that when washed
at the right temperature your clothes will come out looking
their best time after time.
Turn garments inside out to reduce abrasion so avoiding
contamination by fibres from other garments during the
washing cycle. We recommend doing this and washing the
garment at 40°.
Drying
Always check the care label to see whether a garment
can be tumble dried. When tumble drying the following
is recommended: Garment Type:
Cotton 50 - 100 minutes
Cotton Polyester 35 - 55 minutes
Heavy Synthetics 45 - 65 minutes
Light Synthetics 30 - 40 minutes
Airing Dry 20 - 30 minutes
In cases where tumble drying is not appropriate, there
will often be alternative drying methods suggested such
as flat or drip dry:
Do not Tumble Dry
Dry Flat - Re-shape whilst damp
Drip Dry
Ironing
The iron symbols advise the optimum temperature at which
to iron. The dots represent the recommended iron temperature.
The more dots the hotter the iron.
Iron each garment on the recommended setting as per the
care label.
Do not iron directly onto a print or embroidered logo
or text. Always iron the garment inside out.
Enjoy your clothes.
