| Timber Up
and Over Doors
Timber gives just that little extra something when choosing a garage door. For those customers who prefer the traditional values of natural materials and craftsmanship, Accord JLG are agents for most of the 'big name' manufacturers of timber up and over doors, and have many years' experience in their installation and maintenance.
Garador
Garador use solid timber on steel sub frames to make the doors strong and rigid. With the right care and attention, timber doors will give good service for many years. There are three ranges available, the Solid Cedar, the 'Elizabethan' (part cedar, part exterior ply) and the Cavendish plywood door. The Cedar and Elizabethan doors are supplied with a base stain – the Cavendish comes untreated.
The steel sub frame is galvanised and powder coated in brown for excellent corrosion resistance.
Solid Cedar – there are five models in the solid cedar range in single and double door sizes, the Vertical Cedar, the Chevron Cedar, the Kingsbury, the Sandhurst (with six different style window options) and the Barrington.
Smallest single 2134mm (7') wide by 1981mm (6' 6") high
Largest single 3049mm (10') wide by 2136mm (7') high
Elizabethan – again five models, Tudor, Seymour, Wolsey, Shaftesbury and Bosworth (no window options). With the exception of the Bosworth, these doors are only available in a small range of sizes.
Smallest single 2134mm (7') wide x 1981mm (6' 6") high
Largest single 2284mm (7' 6") wide x 2136mm (7') high
The Bosworth is available as a canopy door up to 2439mm (8' 1") wide by 2136mm (7') high – as a retractable door it goes up to 3049mm (10') wide x 2136mm (7') high.
Cavendish – one style only.
Smallest single 2134mm (7') wide x 1981mm (6' 6") high
Largest single 2439mm (8' 1") wide x 2136mm (7') high
All double doors in all Garador timber ranges are 4269mm (14') wide by 1981mm (6' 6") or 2136mm (7') high.Again automation of all of these doors is possible using the appropriately rated Garador operator.
