Steel Up and Over Doors
There is a vast range of up and over doors in steel – Accord JLG can make almost any door available, but we tend to concentrate on a small number of manufacturers, whose quality and reliability we have learned to trust over the years.
Garador
This Yeovil-based company offers eight styles of single-sized and double-sized up and over doors, in both canopy and retractable models. All doors are made from high-grade galvanised steel panels, supported on a rigid box-section framework for both strength and lightness in operation. The doors are supplied with a quality powder-coated paint finish and fitted with high security Europrofile cylinder locks and handles.
There are thirty-seven 'standard' sizes in the single door range:-
Smallest 1984mm (6' 6") wide by 1830mm (6') high
Largest 3049mm (10') wide by 2136mm (7') high
The double door sizes range from:-
Smallest 3049mm (10') wide by 2286mm (7' 6") high
Largest 4269mm (14') wide by 2136mm (7') high
Intermediate sizes can be obtained by utilising Garador's made to measure service.
Colours available are White, Brown, Blue, Burgundy, Black, Dark Green. The 'Beaumont' model also has a window option. All panels are galvanised before powder coating for long life and corrosion resistance. Garador steel doors come with a 10-year warranty against material or manufacturing defects.
Automation can be offered on all Garador models, using the 'Garamatic' range of operators, or third party operators such as 'Liftmaster'.

Cardale
Cardale steel up and over doors are produced from hot-dip galvanised steel, primed on the inside and Plastisol coated on the outside*. Plastisol is highly durable, providing excellent protection from the elements, and is guaranteed for ten years.
Plastisol coated doors are available in timber grain or leather grain finishes, in white, brown or black.
*The Cardale 'Prima' range is finished in a neutral white or stone grey primer to cater for on site finishing in the user's choice of colour.
A wide variety of styles is available, from simple horizontal ribbed designs to Georgian panels with optional windows.
The normal full range of sizes is covered from 6' 6'' x 6' 6" (1981mm x 1981mm) up to 8' 0" x 7' 0" (2438mm x 2134mm) for single garages, and up to 14' 0" x 7' 0" (4267mm x 2134mm) for double garages.
Automation is by means of the Cardale 'Autoglide', DC-650 or DC-800 electric operators – alternative operators such as the 'Liftmaster' range may also be applicable.

Henderson
Henderson offer two ranges of steel doors, the 'Castle' and the 'Premier'.
The 'Castle' range is eight models, two of which (Durham and Warwick) are available in nine pre-finished colours using Plastisol coated steel technology. Should you wish a custom colour, these doors can be supplied in a baked-on White primer coat, ready for you to finish to your own requirements. The other models in the range come in either White or Mahogany Plastisol finish.
Single-sized Castle doors are available with a narrow-fit aluminium frame. Double-sized doors (over 8' 0" wide) are available with a steel box-section frame. Frames are supplied primed or powder coated depending on the finish of the door.
Two styles of mock glazing are available for the Warkworth and Bamburgh models.
The 'Premiere' doors are the perfect combination of style and strength. Premiere doors are available in width and height increments of 1mm, giving doors which are sized to your individual garage without the use of infill or packing materials.
The doors are constructed from galvanised steel with a baked-on powder coated polyester paint finish in either white primer for you to finish, or with a further coat of deep-textured fully finished white.
All Henderson steel doors can be supplied with either canopy style opening or fully retractable. Automation is available for all models – there are seven operators in the range for virtually every preference and pocket. The Henderson operators have an inbuilt courtesy light, a sensor to detect obstructions and reverse the door, and automatic memorisation of the force needed to open and close, to optimise the motion of the door.
