As a company we have been involved in furniture restoration since 1965 and have evolved into one of Shropshires leading restoration companies for both cabinet and upholstered furniture, our services involve restoration from the frame up for unholstered furniture starting with a basic carcase and french polishing where needed, right through to having a fully upholstered item on coil springs and using fibre as was originally used with the formation of hand stitched roll edges.

With regard to fabrics these are sourced from many avenues from leather right upto silks from Lelievre. On the cabinet side we offer a hand stripping and french polishing service, be it a desk, beaureaux or table and apply hand tooled leather tops where needed, turnings and cabinet making skills are all carried out in house in our fully insured workshop, no matter how badly damaged or nelected your furniture is we can restore it to its former glory and into an item that will be a joy to look at as well as being a good investment in future years, so no matter whats its condition now, we can" sympathetically" restore it with all of the relevant skills at our disposal and transform it back to how it was originally to give you an item to be proud of.

For more modern furniture we can repair and re-finish using a variety of lacquers to give a very hard wearing and durable finish, most modern furniture is finished with lacquer, so that large water mark or heat mark can be professionally removed, if for instance you have a burn mark from a neglected candle at worst a new leaf or top can be manufactured and coloured in using our polishing skill to match the original base and perhaps several other items in the set, to repair one item costs a lot less than replacing the whole set.
