When it comes to re-upholstery you know you have approached the right company, having traded since 1965 we have the experience and knowledge to rebuild your three piece suite, antique furniture or any item that is in need of recovering.

The basis of any item of furniture is the frame which is inspected and all loose joints reglued giving a good base from which to start, most of the frames require some strengthening which when completed gives the right base to start the re-upholstery process.

The rest of the item is then looked at stage by stage from the springing which in most cases is replaced through to the padding which is replaced where required or added to, and the final stage of applying the fabric which will then give you an item that will give you as many years of service.

Being experienced in both traditional and modern methods of upholstery is of great importance, if you have a antique item of furniture the methods involved are totally different from a modern piece, providing it is re-upholstered using fibre and stitched edges it will not only give you good service but will also retain its full value, giving you an investment for the future.

Should you require a suite making to a particular design this can be constructed for you. We will make any item of furniture either from plans or copy from a picture, all of our frames are hardwood and glued, screwed and doweled, once the carcase has been upholstered you have a choice of feather, fibre or foam wrapped cushions, to finish off your furniture and give the desired effect, should you require a stool or pouffe to add to the effect we can make this to many designs and sizes to your choice.

We have an enviable selection of fabrics running along side an excellent range of braids, fringes and trimmings which not only include upholstery but also curtains and soft furnishings which we make on our own premises to co-ordinate with your furniture. Swags and tails, padded pelmets and headboards along with poles and fittings and all associated items can be made to your specification and fitted for you so when it comes to quality and service you have only to ring our workshop to that you are in safe hands and your furniture or drapes will be manufactured to the highest standard and quite individual.
